Torornto-based Esight to open Franklin office

A Toronto-based health care company has chosen Franklin for its first office outside of Canada. Vision technology firm Esight (stylized eSight) is opening an office at 330 Mallory Station Road, according to a news release. Former Nashville-based Precedent Health CEO Brian McCollum will lead the Franklin office as Esight’s chief commercial officer. Read more >>

Neuraly, Inc., a clinical stage biotechnology company pioneering disease-modifying agents for neurodegenerative disorders, today announced it has received clearance of an investigational new drug application (IND) to initiate a Phase 2B trial of NLY01 in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Myomo names chief medical officer

Myomo today said it appointed Dr. Harry Kovelman as chief medical officer, effective immediately. Kovelman will be responsible for overseeing the company’s patient advocacy organization. Advanced assistive tech device to support 2 million people in the UK with sight loss

eSight has announced that its newest vision enhancement technology, eSight 4, is now available in the UK through VisionAid Technologies, expanding its goal of providing sight to people with visual impairment worldwide. According to the European Blind Union, there’s an estimated 30 million blind or partially sighted people in Europe.
