Framingham’s DetraPel is trying to create a greener world with chemistry. Overlooking 23,000 square feet of manufacturing space, David Zamarin’s company is changing the way other companies think about and use chemical materials. At DetraPel, they’ve created consumer and industrial coatings that protect items such as textiles, paper and food packaging — all the while making those coatings without using cancer-causing PFAS chemicals.
